Estimate how many coins your stake could earn and what they might be worth. Enter the amount staked, the APR or APY, how often rewards are restaked, the validator or platform fee and an optional yearly price change. Rates and prices change all the time, so treat the results as estimates, not promises.

How to use the Crypto Staking Rewards Calculator
Enter the number of coins you stake and today's price per coin.
Enter the reward rate and say whether it is an APR or an APY.
Choose how often rewards are restaked (for APR) and enter the validator or platform fee.
Set the staking period and, if you like, an expected yearly price change.
Press Calculate to see coins earned, value, net APY and the table.
Staking reward formulas
Net rate = reward rate × (1 − fee). A 4% rate with a 10% fee gives 3.6%.
APR, restaked n times a year: coins = C × (1 + net APR ÷ n)n × years
APR, paid out: coins = C × (1 + net APR × years)
APY: coins = C × (1 + net APY)years
APY from APR = (1 + APR ÷ n)n − 1
Value = coins × price, with price = today's price × (1 + yearly change)years
Example: 32 coins, 4% APR, 10% fee

Compounding helps, but the fee and the reward rate matter far more than how often you restake. Over longer periods the coin price usually dominates the result in money terms.
Things to check before staking
Lock-up and unbonding periods: some networks take days or weeks to release staked coins.
Slashing risk: on some networks a misbehaving validator can lose part of the stake delegated to it.
Platform risk: staking through an exchange means trusting it to hold your coins.
Inflation: rewards often come from new coin issuance, so part of the yield just offsets dilution.
Frequently asked questions
How are staking rewards calculated?
With an APR compounded n times a year, coins at the end = coins × (1 + APR × (1 − fee) ÷ n)^(n × years). If rewards are paid out instead of restaked, rewards are simply coins × APR × (1 − fee) × years. With an APY, coins = coins × (1 + APY × (1 − fee))^years.
What is the difference between APR and APY in staking?
APR is the simple yearly reward rate without compounding. APY includes the effect of restaking rewards. A 5% APR restaked daily is about a 5.13% APY. Many platforms quote APY, so check which one you are seeing before entering it.
How does the validator fee work?
Validators and staking platforms usually keep a share of the rewards, not of your stake. A 10% commission on a 4% reward rate leaves you 3.6%. The calculator shows the coins lost to fees by comparing the result with a fee-free stake.
Does the coin price affect my rewards?
Not the number of coins, but it changes what they are worth. A falling price can wipe out staking rewards in money terms, which is why there is an optional price change field and a chart comparing staking with simply holding.
Are staking rewards guaranteed?
No. Reward rates move with network participation and protocol rules, validators can go offline, some networks can penalize (slash) misbehaving validators, and locked or unbonding periods may stop you selling quickly. Treat the numbers as estimates.
Are staking rewards taxable?
In many countries, including the US, staking rewards are generally treated as income when you receive them, and selling later can create a capital gain or loss. Rules differ by country and change over time, so check current guidance or ask a tax professional.
