How old is your body compared with your birthday? Answer a short lifestyle questionnaire on sleep, exercise, smoking, diet, weight and blood pressure to get an estimated biological age, see which habits add or take off years, and where to start improving.
Answer the lifestyle questions: sleep, weekly exercise, smoking, fruit and vegetables, alcohol and stress.
Add your blood pressure if you know it (optional).
Read your estimated biological age and how far it is from your real age.

Biological age = chronological age + sum of adjustments, with the total limited to −10 / +20 years. The bands follow common health guidance: 150 minutes of activity a week, 7–9 hours of sleep, 5 servings of fruit and vegetables a day, BMI 18.5–24.9 and blood pressure under 120/80.
Habits that move the number
Stop smoking: risks begin falling within months of quitting and keep dropping for years.
Move more: brisk walking for 30 minutes on five days covers the 150-minute goal.
Protect sleep: keep a regular schedule and a dark, cool bedroom.
Eat plants: add one extra serving of fruit or vegetables to each meal.
Know your numbers: check blood pressure, cholesterol and blood sugar with your doctor.
Frequently asked questions
What is biological age?
Biological age describes how old your body seems based on its health and function, while chronological age is simply the time since you were born. Two people aged 50 can have very different biological ages depending on genes, habits and health conditions.
How does this calculator estimate biological age?
It starts from your real age and adds or subtracts years for each factor: smoking, exercise, sleep, fruit and vegetable intake, BMI, blood pressure, alcohol and stress. The weights reflect the general direction and relative size of each factor's link with health and longevity in research, but the exact numbers are a simplified scoring model.
Is this the same as an epigenetic or blood test?
No. Lab methods such as DNA methylation clocks or blood-marker scores (for example PhenoAge) measure biological signals directly. This questionnaire only uses lifestyle and simple health measures, so treat it as an educational estimate, not a medical result.
Which factor matters most?
In this model smoking has the largest effect, followed by obesity, high blood pressure and physical inactivity. That matches large population studies, where current smoking is associated with roughly a decade of lost life expectancy compared with never smoking.
Can I lower my biological age?
Your estimated biological age responds to what you change: stopping smoking, reaching at least 150 minutes of activity a week, sleeping 7 to 9 hours, eating more fruit and vegetables, reaching a healthier weight and controlling blood pressure all move the number down.
Why is there a limit on the adjustment?
To keep the estimate sensible, the total adjustment is capped between 10 years younger and 20 years older than your real age, and the result never goes below 18. Real biological age measures also vary within a limited range.
