Daily vs. weekly planner pages
| Daily planner | Weekly planner | |
|---|---|---|
| Best for | Busy days, appointments, time blocking | Overview of the week, school and family schedules |
| Sections | Hourly schedule, top 3 priorities, to-do list, notes, water tracker | Seven day boxes, notes & to-do box, optional habit tracker |
| Pages per month | 28–31 | 4–5 |
| Max pages per PDF here | 31 (one month) | 12 (about a quarter) |
How the schedule rows are sized
The schedule fills the left column from top to bottom. The number of rows is (end time − start time) ÷ slot length, and each row gets an equal share of the column height. Example: 7 AM to 9 PM in hourly slots is 14 rows; on US Letter (279.4 mm tall) that leaves roughly 16 mm per hour, enough for two lines of handwriting. Switching to 30-minute slots gives 28 rows of about 8 mm each, with the half-hour lines drawn dashed.
Planning tips that actually stick
- Pick three priorities, not ten. Write the three things that would make today a success before you look at email.
- Time-block the schedule. Draw a box around the hours you will spend on each priority, including breaks.
- Plan the week on Sunday or Monday. Fill in fixed appointments first, then add tasks to days with free space.
- Track one or two habits. A small checkbox every day (water, walk, reading) works better than a long list.
- Print a month at once. Set 31 pages starting on the 1st, punch the pages and keep them in a binder.
Frequently asked questions
Can I make a whole month of daily pages at once?
Yes. Set the start date to the first day of the month and the number of pages to the number of days, for example 31. Each page gets the next date automatically, all in one PDF.
How do I print the planner?
Open the PDF and print at 100% or Actual size. For a binder, print on US Letter or A4; for a smaller planner or ring binder, choose A5 and print, or print two A5 pages per sheet in your printer settings.
Can I make an undated planner?
Yes. Tick Undated and the date is replaced with a blank line, so you can reuse the pages any time and write the date yourself.
What does the weekly planner include?
One page per week with seven boxes, one per day, each labeled with the weekday and date, plus a box for notes and to-dos. You can start the week on Monday or Sunday.
Is my information saved?
Your settings, such as colors and sections, are remembered in this browser for next time. Nothing is uploaded; the PDF is created on your device.
Can I change the colors?
Pick one of the accent colors for headings, borders and highlights. Lines stay light gray so the pages print cleanly and don't use much ink.
