Work out what time it will be when you land. Pick the departure and arrival time zones, enter the local departure time and flight length, and get the local arrival time, day change and time difference. Or enter both local times to find the real flight duration.

How to use the Flight Arrival Time Calculator
Choose what to find: arrival time, or flight duration from both local times.
Pick the time zones for the departure and arrival cities.
Enter the local departure date and time from your ticket.
Enter the flight time (or the local arrival date and time in duration mode).
Read the local arrival, the day change and the time difference.
How flight arrival time is calculated
Local arrival = local departure + flight duration + (destination UTC offset − origin UTC offset).
The calculator does this precisely by converting the departure to UTC, adding the flight time, and converting the result to the destination time zone using the offset valid on that date (so daylight saving time is handled).
Example: Los Angeles 11:00 (UTC−7 in summer) + 11h40 = 22:40 Los Angeles time; Tokyo is UTC+9, 16 hours ahead → 14:40 the next day in Tokyo.
Flight duration from two local times = (arrival − destination offset) − (departure − origin offset).

Frequently asked questions
How do I calculate my arrival time in another time zone?
Convert the departure time to UTC, add the flight duration, then convert to the destination's time zone. Equivalently, add the flight time to the departure time and then add the time difference. New York 7:30 PM + 7h05 + 5 hours (London is usually 5 hours ahead of New York) = 7:35 AM the next day in London.
Why does my flight seem to arrive before it left?
When you fly east-to-west across many time zones, especially across the International Date Line, the clock at the destination can be behind the departure clock. A flight from Sydney to Los Angeles often lands earlier on the calendar than it departed.
How do I find the real flight duration from my ticket?
Ticket times are local. Switch to Flight duration mode, enter both local times and time zones, and the calculator converts both to UTC and subtracts them, so the time difference is removed.
Does this account for daylight saving time?
Yes. It uses your browser's built-in time zone database, so the offset for each city is correct for the specific date, including daylight saving changes.
What does +1 mean on a flight time?
Airlines show +1 when the flight arrives on the next calendar day in local time, and −1 when it arrives on the previous day. The calculator shows the same day change.
Is the flight duration gate to gate?
Airline schedules list block time, from pushing back at the gate to arriving at the gate, including taxiing. Actual time in the air is shorter, and delays or winds can change both.
