Open a video, type your watermark text or add a logo, drag it where you want and set the size and opacity. The watermarked video is made right in your browser, so your footage never leaves your device.

Sizes are relative, so the same settings look the same on a 720p and a 4K video. Text size is a share of the video height and logo width a share of the video width.
Keep your watermark clear of platform buttons
On TikTok, Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts the right edge and the bottom of a vertical video are covered by like, comment and share buttons and by the caption. A watermark in the bottom-right corner of a 9:16 video is often hidden. Use the top-left or top-right corner with a margin of about 5%, or move the watermark to the middle of the left edge.
For 16:9 videos on YouTube, the progress bar and player controls cover the bottom few percent while the video is paused or hovered, and end screens appear in the last 5 to 20 seconds. A top-right logo stays visible in all of these cases.
How the watermark is added
Each frame of your video is drawn onto an HTML canvas, the text and logo are painted on top with the opacity you chose, and the canvas is recorded together with the original soundtrack by your browser's built-in encoder (MediaRecorder). Because the watermark becomes part of every pixel of the picture it cannot be switched off like a subtitle track. The process runs at normal playback speed, so the export takes about as long as the video.
Frequently asked questions
How do I add a logo watermark to a video?
Open the Logo tab, press Choose logo and pick your image. A PNG with a transparent background looks best. Set the logo width as a percentage of the video width, choose a corner or drag it on the preview, lower the opacity to around 60-80% and export.
Can I add text and a logo at the same time?
Yes. The text and logo are separate layers. Each one has its own switch, position, size and opacity, so you can, for example, put the logo in the top-right corner and your website address at the bottom.
What is the best position for a video watermark?
A bottom or top corner with a small margin keeps the watermark out of the way of the subject. If you want to make it hard to crop out, use the Repeat option, which tiles faint text across the whole frame, or place it closer to the centre at low opacity.
Why does the export take as long as the video?
Browsers encode video in real time with the MediaRecorder API, so the video plays once while each frame is drawn with the watermark and recorded. A 2 minute clip takes about 2 minutes. Keep the tab open and visible while it works.
Will the video quality drop?
The video has to be re-encoded to burn in the watermark, which always loses a little detail. Choose Match original or Very high quality for the best result. The resolution stays the same unless you choose a smaller output size.
Is my video uploaded to a server?
No. The video, the logo and the finished file stay on your device. Everything is processed by your browser, and the output has no extra watermark or branding from this site.
Can I remove a watermark later?
Not from the exported file: the watermark is burned into the picture. Keep your original video if you may need a clean copy.
