Poshmark fee formula
Sale under the threshold: fee = flat fee (US default $2.95 under $15)
Sale at or above the threshold: fee = sale price × 20%
Earnings = sale price − fee − any shipping discount you offered
List price for a payout X = X + flat fee (if that is under the threshold), otherwise X ÷ 0.80
Example: to receive $40 you need to list at $40 ÷ 0.80 = $50. To receive $10, $10 + $2.95 = $12.95 is under $15, so a $12.95 price is enough.

Below the threshold the flat fee is a large share of cheap items, so bundling small items usually pays more. Just above the threshold the switch to 20% can make your payout dip slightly: in the US a $14.99 sale nets $12.04, while $15.00 nets $12.00.
Frequently asked questions
How much does Poshmark take?
In the US, Poshmark charges a flat $2.95 on sales under $15 and 20% on sales of $15 or more. A $50 sale earns you $40; a $10 sale earns $7.05.
How do I price an item to get a specific payout?
Divide the payout you want by 0.80 when the result is $15 or more. For small payouts, add the $2.95 flat fee instead. Use reverse mode and the calculator picks the lowest price that works.
Does the buyer or the seller pay Poshmark shipping?
The buyer normally pays the shipping label. If you offer a shipping discount, the discounted part is deducted from your earnings, so enter it in the shipping discount field.
Why does a $15 sale earn less than a $14.99 sale?
At $14.99 only the $2.95 flat fee applies, leaving $12.04. At $15 the 20% commission applies, so the fee is $3.00 and you earn $12.00. The calculator flags this cliff.
Are Poshmark fees different in Canada?
Poshmark Canada has used a flat C$3.95 fee for sales under C$20 and 20% above. Use the Canada preset and confirm the current rules in the Poshmark app.
Is this calculator affiliated with Poshmark?
No. It is an independent estimate that runs in your browser. Poshmark can change its fees, so check its fee page if a number looks off.
