Turn product snapshots into clean marketplace images: the background is removed, the product is centered on pure white with even padding, and every photo is exported at 2000 × 2000 px (or another size). Process a whole batch and download it as one ZIP.

How to use the Product Photo White Background
Add your product photos: drop them on the box, paste or press Choose photos. A sample mug shows how it works.
Pick the removal mode: Auto (AI) for any background, Plain backdrop for a fast cut on a plain wall or sweep, or Already cut out for transparent PNGs.
Set the canvas: output size (2000 x 2000 px by default), padding, position and an optional shadow.
Check each photo by clicking its thumbnail. The line under the preview shows the size and how much of the frame the product fills.
Download the current photo or press Download all (ZIP) to save the whole batch.

Tips for better product cut-outs
Shoot on a plain backdrop. A white sheet, poster board or light box makes both modes more accurate, especially around shiny or transparent parts.
Use soft, even light. Window light from the side plus a white card on the other side reduces harsh shadows that can be mistaken for the product.
Fill the camera frame. The more pixels the product has in the original, the sharper it stays at 2000 px.
Keep the main image clean. Leave props, text and shadows for the secondary images; use the floor shadow option there for a natural look.
Be consistent. Using the same size, padding and position for every product makes your store grid look professional.
How the layout is calculated
After the background is removed, the tool finds the tight bounding box of the product (pixels that are more than about 10% opaque). It then scales the product so that it fits inside the canvas minus the padding on each side: scale = min((W − 2p) ÷ product width, (H − 2p) ÷ product height), where p is the padding in pixels. The product is placed in the center, or on the bottom margin when Standing on the bottom edge is selected.
Frequently asked questions
What background does Amazon require for the main image?
Amazon's main product image must have a pure white background (RGB 255, 255, 255), show only the product, and the product should fill about 85% of the frame. Images of 1000 px or more on the longest side enable zoom. Keep the Shadow option on None and Background on Pure white for main images, and check Amazon's current style guide for your category.
Why 2000 x 2000 pixels?
A 2000 px square is accepted by Amazon, eBay, Etsy and Shopify, it is well above the 1000 px needed for zoom, and the square shape displays without cropping in search grids. You can also export 1000 to 3000 px squares or 4:5 and 4:3 formats.
How much padding should I use?
With 7% padding on each side the product spans 86% of the longest side, close to the common 85% guideline. Use less padding for small items that should look bigger, and more if a marketplace or your shop style wants extra white space.
Which removal mode should I choose?
Auto (AI) recognizes the product on almost any background, including tables, rooms and hands. Plain backdrop is instant and works well when the photo was taken against a plain wall, sheet or light box. Already cut out keeps transparent PNGs as they are and only resizes and centers them.
Why does the AI take a while the first time?
The background-removal model (tens of megabytes) is downloaded once and cached by your browser; after that each photo takes a few seconds. If it cannot be downloaded, the tool falls back to the plain-backdrop method and tells you.
Will small photos look blurry?
If the cut-out product is smaller than the frame, it must be enlarged and the preview line warns you with the upscale factor. Shoot or upload the largest original you have; ideally the product alone should be at least as large as the output size.
Are my product photos uploaded?
No. Removal, layout and export all run in your browser. Only the AI model files are downloaded from a public CDN; your images stay on your device.
