How to use the Rubber Stamp Maker
Pick a template such as Approved, Paid, Received or Company seal, or choose Blank to start fresh. The preview updates instantly.
Choose the shape: round and oval stamps put the top and bottom text on a curve; rectangles stack the lines.
Type your text: top text, center text, an optional second center line (press Insert date for today) and bottom text.
Style it: ink color, font, border, stars or lines, text size, letter spacing and tilt.
Add wear with the grunge slider, press Shuffle texture for a different pattern, then download a PNG or SVG or copy the image.
Common stamp sizes
If you plan to turn the design into a physical stamp, match the proportions of the stamp body. These are typical sizes for self-inking and wooden-handle stamps; check the exact size with your supplier.

Tips for a realistic digital stamp
Keep it short. Real stamps carry a few words. Long text gets compressed to fit the ring and loses impact.
Use uppercase and a bold font. Capital letters fill the ring evenly, and heavy strokes survive the worn texture.
Tilt slightly. A tilt of 5 to 12 degrees looks hand-stamped; a perfectly straight stamp looks printed.
Moderate wear. 30 to 60 % grunge looks like a used rubber stamp. Turn on uneven ink to mimic a stamp pressed harder on one side.
Pick a classic ink. Red is traditional for PAID, VOID and CONFIDENTIAL, blue for RECEIVED and signatures, green for APPROVED.
How it is built
The stamp is drawn as SVG vector graphics. Curved text uses SVG text paths on the upper and lower halves of a circle or ellipse, with the baseline pushed in or out by about a third of the font size so the letters sit centered between the rings. The worn look is a seeded mask of thousands of tiny specks, faded blotches and scratches, so the same seed always gives the same texture and Shuffle texture creates a new one. The PNG is rendered from the same SVG at the size you choose.
Frequently asked questions
How do I make a custom stamp online?
Choose a template or a blank stamp, select the shape, type the top, center and bottom text, then pick the ink color, border and decoration. The worn texture slider makes it look like real rubber-stamp ink. Download the transparent PNG for documents or the SVG for printing and laser engraving.
How does the curved text work on a round stamp?
The top text runs clockwise along the upper half of the ring and the bottom text runs along the lower half in the other direction, so both read upright from left to right. Long text automatically shrinks to fit the half circle, and letter spacing spreads short words around the ring.
Can I order a real rubber stamp from this design?
Yes. Download the SVG (vector) or the 2400 px PNG and send it to a stamp maker or engraver. Most self-inking stamps are 38 to 42 mm round or about 58 x 22 mm rectangular, so keep the text short and the font bold for a clean impression. Switch the grunge effect off for production files.
Why is the stamp background transparent?
A transparent PNG has no white box around the ink, so the stamp blends naturally into a PDF, invoice, photo or slide, just like real ink on paper. If you need a white background, place it on a white page or paste it into a document.
Which fonts does the SVG use?
The stamp uses widely installed system fonts: Georgia, Arial Black, Courier New and Impact. If a computer lacks one of them, a similar fallback is used. For a fixed look everywhere, use the PNG download.
Is it OK to copy an official or government seal?
No. Use this tool for your own business, classroom, crafts, invoices and fun projects. Imitating the official seal or stamp of a government office, notary, bank or another company to mislead people is not allowed and is illegal in many places.
Is my design saved or uploaded?
No. The stamp is generated in your browser as SVG and converted to PNG on your device. Nothing is uploaded, and nothing is stored after you close the page.
