Keep score for your whole group on your phone: tap + and − for strokes and putts on each hole, mark fairways hit, and watch gross, net and Stableford totals update instantly. Handicap strokes are applied by stroke index, rounds save in your browser, and the card prints like a real one.
Set up the round: course name, 9 or 18 holes, and each player's name and handicap.
Check par and stroke index for hole 1 (shown above the players), and change them if your course differs.
Enter scores: tap + to start at par, then adjust strokes and putts for each player, and mark the fairway as hit or missed.
Move to the next hole with Next or the numbered hole buttons. Totals, net scores and Stableford points update as you go.
Save or print the round when you finish, or download a CSV of every hole.
Reading the scorecard
Like a printed card, each score is marked by how it compares with par: a circle for a birdie, a double circle for an eagle or better, a square for a bogey and a double square for a double bogey or worse. Pars have no mark. Small dots next to a score show handicap strokes received on that hole. The putts line also shows a check mark for every fairway hit.

A hole in one on a par 3 is also an eagle; on a par 4 it is an albatross.
Stats worth tracking
Putts per round: tour players average around 29; many club golfers take 32 to 36. More than two putts on a hole usually points to distance control on long putts.
Fairways hit: counted on par 4s and 5s only (14 holes on a typical par 72 course).
Greens in regulation: the strongest single predictor of scoring. Each extra green hit tends to save strokes over a round.
Scoring by nine: compare your Out and In totals to see whether you start slowly or fade late in the round.
Frequently asked questions
How is the net score calculated?
Each player's course handicap is spread over the holes by stroke index: a 14 handicap gets one stroke on the 14 holes with stroke index 1 to 14, and an 18 handicap one stroke on every hole. Net score is gross strokes minus the handicap strokes received. Strokes received are shown as dots on the card.
What is a green in regulation (GIR)?
You hit the green in regulation when your ball is on the green in two strokes fewer than par: in 1 on a par 3, 2 on a par 4 or 3 on a par 5. The scorecard works it out automatically as strokes minus putts ≤ par − 2 when you enter putts.
How do Stableford points work?
In Stableford scoring you earn points per hole based on your net score: 0 for net double bogey or worse, 1 for net bogey, 2 for net par, 3 for net birdie, 4 for net eagle and so on. The formula used is points = 2 + par + handicap strokes − strokes, with a minimum of 0. Higher totals are better.
Should I enter my Handicap Index or course handicap?
Either works. A course handicap is the number of strokes you get on that course and tee. If you enter a Handicap Index, add the course rating and slope rating from the scorecard and the tool converts it with the World Handicap System formula: Index × Slope ÷ 113 + (Course Rating − Par), rounded.
What is the stroke index on a golf scorecard?
The stroke index (or handicap hole) ranks the holes from 1, the hardest, to 18, the easiest. It decides where handicap strokes are given. Traditionally the odd numbers are on one nine and the even numbers on the other; copy the values from your course's printed card.
Are my scores saved?
Yes, on this device only. The current card is saved automatically in your browser after every change, and Save round adds it to your round history. Nothing is uploaded. Clearing your browser data removes saved rounds, so download a CSV for anything you want to keep.
