Cash App fee formulas
Fee = amount × rate + fixed fee, but never less than the minimum fee
Instant deposits and business payments: net received = amount − fee
Credit card sends: the sender's card is charged amount + 3%; the recipient gets the full amount
Reverse: amount needed = (target + fixed fee) ÷ (1 − rate), or target + minimum fee when the minimum applies
Example: an instant deposit of $200 at 1.75% costs $3.50, so $196.50 reaches your bank. A $10 instant deposit would be $0.175, so the $0.25 minimum applies.
