How to use the Video Collage Maker
Add your videos: select 2 to 9 files at once, drop them on the box, or press Try sample clips.
Pick a layout and shape, for example 2×2 grid and 1:1 square for Instagram, or 3 rows and 9:16 for Reels and TikTok.
Adjust each cell: click it on the preview, then trim it, choose fill or fit, and mute or lower its volume.
Style the grid with the gap width, corner radius and gap colour, and choose the collage length.
Press Create collage video, wait while it renders in real time, then press Download video.

Output sizes and cell sizes
The gap is set in pixels for a 1080 px short side and scales with the output size, so a 12 px gap stays 8 px at 720p. The cell size follows from the layout: in a 2×2 grid at 1920×1080 with a 12 px gap each cell is (1920 − 3 × 12) / 2 = 942 px wide and (1080 − 3 × 12) / 2 = 522 px tall.

Tips
Fill cell crops each video from the centre so there are no bars; use Show whole video for clips where the edges matter, such as screen recordings.
Portrait phone clips look best in tall cells: try 3 columns at 16:9 or a 2×2 grid at 9:16.
Line up clips of the same event by trimming the start of each one to the same clap, beat or action.
Keep only one or two cells audible; several soundtracks playing at once quickly become noise.
Frequently asked questions
How do I put 4 videos on one screen?
Add the four videos, choose the 2×2 grid layout and press Create collage video. Each clip fills a quarter of the frame. Click a cell to trim that clip or mute it, and use the Move buttons to change which video goes in which corner.
How many videos can a collage have?
From 2 to 9. Layouts are available for 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 8 and 9 videos. If you add 7 videos, use the 3×3 or 4×2 grid and the remaining cells show the gap colour.
Which size should I use for Instagram, TikTok or YouTube?
Use 9:16 vertical (1080×1920) for TikTok, Reels and Shorts, 1:1 square (1080×1080) for Instagram feed posts, and 16:9 landscape (1920×1080) for YouTube and most other players.
What happens when the clips have different lengths?
Choose the collage length (longest clip, shortest clip or the clip in cell 1) and what a shorter clip does after it ends: hold its last frame, loop from its trim start, or disappear and show the gap colour.
How is the audio handled?
The sound of every cell is mixed together. Mute a cell or lower its volume to keep only the voices or music you want. The sample clips start with only cell 1 and cell 4 audible.
Why does creating the collage take as long as the video?
All clips are played at once in real time, drawn onto one canvas and recorded with the MediaRecorder API, so a 30 second collage takes about 30 seconds. With many HD clips, choose 720p if the preview stutters, and keep the tab visible.
Are my videos uploaded?
No. The videos are decoded, arranged and encoded entirely in your browser. Nothing is uploaded and no watermark is added.
