Turn a PDF into a ready-to-present PowerPoint file. Each page is rendered as a crisp image on its own slide, fitted to 16:9, 4:3 or the PDF's page size, and the page text can go into the speaker notes. Everything happens in your browser.

How to use the PDF to PowerPoint
Open your PDF by dropping it into the box or clicking to choose it. A preview of the first slide appears.
Pick the slide size: 16:9 for modern screens and projectors, 4:3 for older ones, or Match PDF page size for no margins at all.
Choose the placement and quality. Fit page keeps everything visible; Fill slide crops the edges instead of adding margins.
Press Convert to PowerPoint. Thumbnails of each slide appear as pages are rendered.
Download the .pptx file and open it in PowerPoint, Keynote, Google Slides or LibreOffice Impress.
Slide sizes and how a PDF page fits
PowerPoint slides are measured in inches, PDF pages in points (1 inch = 72 points). The table shows how common page sizes sit on each slide when you choose Fit page.
PDF page
On a 16:9 slide (13.33 × 7.5 in)
On a 4:3 slide (10 × 7.5 in)
Slides exported as PDF (16:9)
Fills the slide exactly
Bars above and below
US Letter landscape (11 × 8.5 in)
Bars left and right (page about 73% of the width)
Thin bars left and right (page 97% of the width)
A4 landscape (11.69 × 8.27 in)
Bars left and right (page about 80% of the width)
Thin bars above and below (page 94% of the height)
US Letter or A4 portrait
Wide bars left and right (page about 40 to 44% of the width)
Bars left and right (page about 53 to 58% of the width)
To avoid bars completely, pick Match PDF page size. PowerPoint accepts slide sides between 1 and 56 inches, so very large pages such as posters are scaled down proportionally to fit that limit.
Image quality and file size
Each slide stores one picture of the page. Its pixel size is the page size in inches multiplied by the DPI, so a Letter page at 170 DPI becomes 1445 × 1870 pixels. Higher DPI means sharper zooming and bigger files.
120 DPI JPG: smallest files, good for email and on-screen reading.
170 DPI JPG: the default, crisp on 1080p projectors and laptop screens.
240 DPI JPG: for 4K displays and printing handouts.
200 DPI PNG: lossless, best for slides full of small text or line art.

Frequently asked questions
How do I convert a PDF to PowerPoint for free?
Open the PDF on this page, choose a slide size and press Convert to PowerPoint, then Download PowerPoint (.pptx). There is no sign-up, no watermark and no upload: the slides are created by your browser on your device.
Can I edit the text on the slides?
The slides show each page as a high-resolution image, so the layout, fonts and charts look exactly like the PDF on any computer. The text itself is not editable on the slide, but when Copy page text into speaker notes is on, the text of every page is in the notes so you can copy it into new text boxes.
Which slide size should I choose?
Widescreen 16:9 (13.33 × 7.5 in) is the PowerPoint default and fits modern screens. Standard 4:3 (10 × 7.5 in) suits older projectors. Match PDF page size makes the slide exactly the shape of the first page, so there are no margins; this is best for PDFs that were exported from slides.
Why are there white bars around my pages?
A portrait A4 or Letter page is much taller than a 16:9 slide, so Fit page leaves margins on the sides. Change the margin color, choose Fill slide to crop the page instead, or choose Match PDF page size.
Which quality setting should I use?
Balanced (170 DPI JPG) looks sharp on a projector and keeps the file small. Sharp (240 DPI) is good for large screens and zooming in. Lossless PNG keeps text edges perfectly crisp but makes the file several times larger. Small file is fine for sharing by email.
Will Google Slides and Keynote open the file?
Yes. The output is a standard .pptx (Office Open XML) presentation, which PowerPoint, Google Slides, Apple Keynote and LibreOffice Impress all open.
Is my PDF uploaded?
No. The pages are rendered with pdf.js and packed into a PowerPoint file by JavaScript inside your browser. Nothing is sent to a server, so confidential decks stay private.
