Keep every guest in one place: group them into households, mark whose side they are on, then track RSVPs, meal choices, plus-ones and table numbers as replies come in. Live totals tell you your headcount, meal counts for the caterer and how many invitations to send.

How to use the Wedding Guest List Manager
Clear the sample list with Start my own list, or keep it to explore how the counts work.
Add guests with their household, side and age, or paste many names at once. Tick the plus-one box or press +1 on a row to add a guest's partner.
Update RSVPs as replies arrive and pick each attending guest's meal. Every change updates the totals instantly.
Assign tables by typing a table number or name; the Tables panel shows how many people sit at each one.
Export or print the list as a CSV for your caterer, venue or planner, or print a clean copy.
How the guest counts work
Every row is one person, including children and plus-ones. The summary at the top is recalculated from those rows each time you change something:
Invited is every guest on the list, split into adults and children.
Attending counts guests marked attending. This is your headcount for the venue, caterer, rentals and favors.
Awaiting reply adds guests with no answer yet and guests who said maybe.
Households counts unique household or party names. A guest without a household counts as their own household, and a plus-one joins the household of the guest who brings them.
Meal counts and Tables only include attending guests, so declined guests never inflate your catering order or seating plan.
Guest list tips that save headaches later
When
What to do with the list
Before booking a venue
Draft the full list first. The invited total sets the minimum capacity you need.
Save-the-dates (6–8 months out)
Fill in households so you know how many envelopes to address and mail.
Invitations (6–8 weeks out)
Decide plus-ones and children now, and list them by name so the invitation matches the list.
RSVP deadline (3–4 weeks out)
Filter by Awaiting reply and follow up with everyone still open. Check the No meal chosen line.
Final numbers (1–2 weeks out)
Give the caterer the Attending total and meal counts. Make sure no attending guest is shown as Not seated yet.
Importing a spreadsheet
Use one row per guest with a header row. Columns can be in any order; the importer looks for headers such as Name (or First name and Last name), Household or Party, Side, Age, Plus-one of, RSVP or Status, Meal, Table and Notes. RSVP values like Yes, Accepted or Attending become Attending, and No, Declined or Regrets become Declined. Exporting from this tool produces exactly this layout, so a CSV can go back and forth between the tool and Excel or Google Sheets.
Frequently asked questions
How do I count households versus guests?
Each person on the list is one guest. Guests that share the same household or party name, such as a couple or a family, count as one household, which is usually one invitation. Plus-ones belong to the household of the guest who brings them. The Households total tells you how many invitations to address.
What is the difference between awaiting reply and maybe?
Awaiting reply means the guest has not answered yet. Maybe means they replied but are not sure. Both are added together in the Awaiting reply total so you know how many answers are still open when you give the caterer a final number.
Which number should I give the caterer?
Give the Attending total, which includes attending plus-ones and children. The Meal counts panel lists how many attending guests chose each meal and flags anyone who has not picked one yet, so you can follow up before the deadline.
Can I import a guest list from Excel or Google Sheets?
Yes. Save or download the sheet as CSV and press Import CSV. The tool recognizes common column names such as Name, First and Last name, Household or Party, Side, RSVP or Status, Meal, Table and Notes. Imported guests are added to your list and exact duplicates are skipped.
Where is my guest list stored?
In your browser's local storage on this device only. Nothing is uploaded and there is no account. Clearing your browser data removes it, so export a CSV backup now and then, especially before switching devices.
How many guests decline a wedding invitation?
It varies with travel distance, date and how close guests are to you. Many couples plan for roughly 10 to 20 percent of invited guests declining, with more declines for destination weddings, but you should base your final numbers on real replies, which this tool tracks.
Can I rename Bride and Groom?
Yes. Open List settings and type any labels for the two sides, such as both partners' first names. You can also change the meal options to match your menu.
