How to use the TriPeaks Solitaire
Look at the waste card at the bottom. You can play any face-up peak card that is one rank higher or lower, in any suit.
Click a card to play it. It becomes the new waste card, so you can keep going up and down: 7, 8, 9, 8, 7…
Uncover the peaks. A card turns face up when both cards overlapping it are gone. Clearing a peak top earns a bonus.
Draw when stuck. Click the stock (or press D) to turn a new waste card. This ends your current streak.
Clear all 28 cards to win. Use Undo or Show hint if you get stuck, and Auto-finish when all remaining cards are face up.

Example
Card played from the peaks
10 × position in the current streak
A 5-card run scores 10 + 20 + 30 + 40 + 50 = 150
Drawing from the stock
0, and the streak resets
The next card played scores 10 again
First and second peak top cleared
+250 each
Removing the top card of a peak
Third peak top cleared
+500
Usually the winning card
Board cleared
+50 per unused stock card
8 cards left in the stock = +400
Because a run's value grows with its length, one 10-card streak (550 points) is worth more than five 2-card streaks (150 points). Scoring rules differ between TriPeaks versions; this table describes this page's game.

Tips for clearing all three peaks
Plan the whole run. Before clicking, trace how far you can go: a 6 on the waste with 5, 7, 8 and 4 showing could be 7-8 or 5-4, and the better choice is the one that flips more face-down cards.
Free cards that cover two others. Each card in rows 3 and 2 sits on top of two cards, so removing the right one can open two new options at once.
Save a link card. If a face-up card can't be used now but bridges two ranks you'll need later, leave it for after the next draw.
Count the stock. With 23 draws you can't afford many single-card plays; aim for runs of four or more between draws.
Use Undo to learn. Replay a deal by its number and try different branches to see how much the order of plays matters.
Frequently asked questions
How do you play TriPeaks Solitaire?
28 cards are dealt into three overlapping pyramids (peaks); only the bottom row starts face up. One card from the remaining 24 starts the waste pile and the other 23 form the stock. You may move any face-up, uncovered peak card to the waste if it is one rank higher or lower than the waste card, regardless of suit. When nothing fits, draw the next stock card. You win by clearing all three peaks before the stock runs out.
Can you play a King on an Ace in TriPeaks?
In most TriPeaks games, yes: ranks wrap around so a King can go on an Ace and an Ace on a King. That's the default here. Untick K–A wrap-around for the stricter version where Aces are low only and Kings high only. The change applies from the next deal.
How does scoring work in this TriPeaks game?
Each card you play scores 10 points times its place in the current streak: the first card is 10, the second 20, the third 30, and so on. Drawing from the stock resets the streak. Clearing the first two peak tops earns 250 points each, clearing the third earns 500, and when you clear the board each unused stock card adds 50 points.
Is every TriPeaks deal winnable?
No, but most are. In tests of this game's solver, roughly 9 in 10 random deals could be cleared with K–A wrap-around on; the stricter no-wrap rule makes deals harder. Tick Winnable deals only and the game searches for a full solution before dealing, so you know a win is possible.
How does the hint work?
Show hint runs a quick search from the current position. If it finds a way to clear the board, it highlights the next move on that path. Otherwise it points to any playable card or the stock, and warns you if the deal can no longer be cleared, which is a good moment to use Undo.
What is the best TriPeaks strategy?
Look ahead before you play: when two cards fit, choose the one that uncovers a face-down card or keeps a longer run going. Avoid drawing while you still have useful plays, because every draw ends your streak and uses up stock you'll need later. Clearing cards that cover two peak cards early opens up more options.
