Open a PDF, add a PNG or JPG, and place it exactly where you want: drag it, resize it from the corner, rotate it and make it see-through. Put it on one page, a range of pages or every page, then save. The original text and layout stay untouched.

Tips
Company logo
PNG with transparent background (or SVG, converted for you)
Use at least 600 px wide so it prints sharply at 2 in (5 cm)
Handwritten signature
PNG with transparent background
Sign in dark ink on white paper, photograph it and remove the background first
Photo or product image
JPG
Crop it before adding; a 1500–2500 px photo is plenty for a full-width print
QR code or barcode
PNG
Keep it at least 2 cm (0.8 in) wide and at 100% opacity so phones can scan it
Background or letterhead art
PNG or JPG
Use Fit page width and lower the opacity to 15–30% so text stays readable
Sizes and units
PDF pages are measured in points: 72 points = 1 inch = 2.54 cm. A US Letter page is 612 × 792 pt and A4 is 595 × 842 pt. The Width slider shows the image width in points and centimetres. To know whether an image is sharp enough for print, divide its width in pixels by its printed width in inches: 300 pixels per inch is print quality, and 150 is usually fine for screen viewing.
How images are placed
The image is drawn into the page content as an image object, on top of the existing text and graphics. Positions are stored relative to each page, so "All pages" works on documents that mix page sizes, and the width stays the same in points. Pages saved with a rotation (common in scanned landscape documents) are handled so the image appears upright exactly where you put it in the preview. If you need the image behind text instead of on top, lower its opacity; true layering under existing content would require rebuilding the page.
Frequently asked questions
How do I add a logo to every page of a PDF?
Add the logo, place it where you want it (for example with the Top right button), then set Show on to All pages. It is added to every page in the same relative position when you save. For a different position on some pages, use Duplicate and give each copy its own page range.
Will adding an image reduce the quality of my PDF?
No. The existing pages are not re-rendered or compressed; text stays selectable and vector graphics stay sharp. The image is embedded at its original resolution, so use a high-resolution image (around 300 pixels per inch of printed size) for print.
Does it keep PNG transparency?
Yes. PNG images are embedded with their alpha channel, so a logo or signature with a transparent background sits on the page without a white box. JPG has no transparency, so a JPG with a white background will cover what is under it unless you lower the opacity.
How big is the file after adding an image?
The PDF grows by about the size of the image file, because each image is stored once and reused on every page where it appears. To keep the PDF small, resize or compress large photos before adding them.
Can I add an image to a password-protected PDF?
Not directly. Encrypted PDFs cannot be changed without the password. Remove the protection with an unlock tool if you are allowed to, then add the image.
Are my files uploaded anywhere?
No. The PDF and images are read and saved by JavaScript in your browser. Nothing is sent to a server, so confidential documents stay on your device.
