Cars and trucks are jammed in a 6×6 parking lot. Slide them forward and backward along their lanes until the red car can drive out of the exit. There are 120 levels in four difficulty packs, and every one has been solved by computer, so you can see the fewest moves possible.

How to use the Car Parking Puzzle
Look at the red car. It sits in the third row and has to reach the exit gap on the right edge of the lot.
Drag a car along its lane. Horizontal cars only move left and right, vertical cars only move up and down, and no car can pass through another.
Clear the path by moving every car and truck that blocks the red car's row out of the way, often by first moving the cars that block them.
Stuck? Press Show hint to see the next move of a shortest solution, or use Undo and Restart level.
Slide the red car to the exit to finish. Try to match the fewest-moves number to earn a star, then pick the next level from the level grid.
How to solve sliding car puzzles
Work backwards from the red car. List the vehicles sitting in the red car's row. Each of those has to leave the row, so ask where each one can go and what is in its way.
Trucks are the real obstacle. A vertical truck in the exit row needs three free squares in its column to clear the row, and on a 6-row board that leaves very little room. Plan the truck's move first.
Look for the cars that block the blockers. Most hard levels are a chain: car C blocks truck B, which blocks the red car. Solving the chain from the far end is usually the shortest route.
Move a vehicle all the way at once. Since a slide of any length counts as one move, pushing a car to the end of its lane in one go keeps your count low and often opens more space.
Expect to move some cars twice. In Advanced and Expert levels a car often has to step aside and then move back. If you think you have found a dead end, use Undo rather than starting over.
Use the hint sparingly. The hint always shows the first move of a shortest solution from where you are now, so one hint is often enough to see the idea.
Level packs
All 120 levels are original. Each one was made by placing vehicles at random, searching every position that can be reached from that layout, and keeping the position that is farthest from a solution. The minimum below is the exact fewest-moves count found by breadth-first search.

Frequently asked questions
How do you play the car parking puzzle?
The board is a 6×6 parking lot packed with cars (2 squares long) and trucks (3 squares long). Each vehicle can only slide forward or backward in the direction it faces. Move the vehicles around until the red car's row is clear, then drive the red car out through the exit on the right side.
How are moves counted?
One move is sliding one vehicle any number of squares in one direction. If you slide the same vehicle again straight after, it still counts as a single move. This is the standard way sliding car puzzles are scored, and it is the same rule used to compute the fewest-moves number for each level.
Is every level solvable?
Yes. Every level was generated and then solved with a breadth-first search that explores every reachable position, so each one has a proven solution and a proven minimum number of moves. The Fewest box shows that minimum.
How does the hint work?
When you press Show hint, the game runs a breadth-first search from your current position, not from the start, and highlights the first move of a shortest solution with an arrow. It also tells you how many moves are left with perfect play, so you can use it even after making mistakes.
What is the difference between the difficulty packs?
Beginner levels need 3 to 10 moves, Intermediate 10 to 17, Advanced 18 to 26 and Expert 26 to 34 moves with perfect play. Harder levels usually have more trucks and require moving cars out of the way more than once.
Is this the same as Rush Hour or Unblock Me?
It uses the same kind of sliding car puzzle that those games made popular, but all 120 levels here are original layouts generated for this page. You can play them free in your browser without installing an app.
Is my progress saved?
Yes. Your best move count for each solved level, the stars for perfect solves and the last level you played are stored in your browser's local storage on this device. Nothing is sent to a server, and you can clear it with Reset saved progress.
