How to use the URL Extractor
Paste your text or HTML into the box. Use Choose file to load an .html, .txt, .csv or other text file.
Optionally add a base URL such as https://example.com/blog/ to turn relative links like /about into full URLs.
Pick the filters: which protocols to keep, domains to include or exclude, and whether to remove duplicates or tracking parameters.
Click a domain in the summary to keep only links to that site.
Copy or download the list as plain lines, Markdown, HTML or CSV.
How links are detected
Links in text: anything that starts with http://, https://, ftp:// or www. and runs until a space, quote or angle bracket. Each candidate is checked with the browser's URL parser, so broken fragments are dropped.
Trailing punctuation: a final . , ; : ! ? or quote is treated as part of the sentence, not the link. Brackets are removed only when unbalanced, so (see https://example.com) loses its ) while /wiki/Mercury_(planet) keeps it.
HTML attributes:href, src, srcset, action, poster and data-src values are read, & is decoded to &, and relative paths such as /blog/post-1 or ../img/a.png are resolved against the base URL you enter, the same way a browser does. Anchors (#top), mailto:, tel: and javascript: links are skipped.
Duplicates: two links are the same when the full URL matches after cleaning. http:// and https:// versions of a page count as different links, because they are.

igshid, twclid, yclid
Instagram shares, X (Twitter) ads, Yandex ads
_hsenc, _hsmi, mkt_tok
HubSpot and Marketo email tracking
Other parameters such as id, page or q are left alone because they usually change what the page shows.
Frequently asked questions
How do I extract all links from a web page?
Open the page, view its source (Ctrl+U or Cmd+Option+U), copy everything and paste it here. The extractor reads every href and src attribute as well as links written in the text. Enter the page address as the base URL so relative links become full URLs.
Which kinds of links are found?
Links that start with http://, https://, ftp:// or www., plus href, src and srcset attributes in HTML. With the bare-domain option on it also finds addresses written without a prefix, such as example.com/page, for common top-level domains.
How does it handle punctuation at the end of a link?
A period, comma, colon, quote or closing bracket at the end of a link is usually sentence punctuation, so it is removed. Closing brackets that belong to the URL, as in Wikipedia links like /Mercury_(planet), are kept because they are balanced.
What does removing tracking parameters do?
It deletes query parameters that only exist for analytics, such as utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign, fbclid, gclid and msclkid, so the same page shared from different campaigns becomes one clean link.
Does the tool visit or check the links?
No. It only reads the text you paste. Nothing is fetched or uploaded, so it is safe to use with private documents and internal links.
Can I extract only links to one website?
Yes. Type the domain in Only these domains, for example example.com, or click it in the domain summary. With the subdomain option on, links to blog.example.com are included too.
