Frequently asked questions
How do I type subscript consonants (ជើង)?
Press the coeng key ្ (J on the NiDA layout) and then the consonant: ស + ្ + ត gives ស្ត.
Where are the Khmer digits?
On the number row of the NiDA layout: ១ ២ ៣ … ០.
How do I type the Khmer full stop?
The khan ។ is on the M row (period key position in this layout) and ៕ (end of text) is Shift on the same key.
Do Khmer words have spaces?
Khmer does not normally put spaces between words, only between phrases. A zero-width space can mark word breaks for line wrapping.
