Make mailing labels in a minute: paste your addresses or import a spreadsheet saved as CSV, choose your label sheet, and download a PDF that lines up with the labels. Text is sized automatically to fit, and you can start on a partly used sheet. Your address list stays on your device.

How to use the Address Label Maker
Enter the addresses: type or paste them with a blank line between addresses, or switch to Import CSV and choose your file.
Pick your label sheet, for example 30 per sheet (1 × 2⅝ in) for standard US address labels, or Custom size to enter your own measurements.
Adjust the text: font, size (Auto fit is a good start), alignment and a bold name line.

Press Create label PDF and print it at 100% (Actual size). Try a test page on plain paper first, held against the label sheet.

Label codes are the manufacturers' product numbers, listed only to help you identify a matching sheet; this tool is not affiliated with any label brand. Sheets from other brands with the same size and count usually use the same layout.
Formatting addresses for the post
US (USPS): recipient name, street address with apartment or suite on the same line or the line above, then city, two-letter state code and ZIP code on the last line, for example SPRINGFIELD IL 62704. USPS recommends uppercase letters and no punctuation for machine reading; tick UPPERCASE to apply it.
UK (Royal Mail): name, house number and street, locality if needed, post town in capitals and the postcode on its own line.
International mail: write the country name in capitals on the last line, in the sender's language.
Measuring a custom label sheet
Choose Custom size and measure with a ruler: top margin is from the top edge of the sheet to the top of the first label, left margin from the left edge to the first label, and the gaps are the spaces between neighbouring labels (often 0 vertically). Label width × columns + gaps + both side margins should add up to the paper width (8.5 in or 210 mm).
Frequently asked questions
Which label sheet should I choose?
Check the packaging for the label size and the number per sheet. The most common US address label is 1 × 2⅝ inches, 30 per sheet; it fits the 5160, 5260, 5630 and 8160 sheet layouts. On A4, 21 labels of 63.5 × 38.1 mm is the most common size. If yours is not listed, choose Custom size and enter the measurements from the sheet.
How do I make labels from an Excel spreadsheet?
In Excel or Google Sheets, save or download the sheet as CSV, then use Import CSV. Columns named like Name or First/Last name, Company, Address, Address 2, City, State, ZIP and Country are combined into proper address lines automatically. You can edit the result before creating the PDF.
Why don't my labels line up when I print?
Make sure the PDF is printed at 100% or Actual size, not Fit to page or Shrink oversized pages, and that the paper size in the print dialog matches the sheet (Letter or A4). Print a test page on plain paper and hold it against a label sheet to check before using labels.
Can I print on a sheet that already has some labels used?
Yes. Click the first unused label in the preview of sheet 1 (or type its number in Start at label). Earlier positions are left blank so the remaining labels can be used.
How do I print a whole sheet of the same return address?
Type the return address and press Fill a whole sheet with the first address. Copies is set to the number of labels on the sheet; choose the 80-per-sheet return address size for small labels.
Does it support accented and international characters?
Accented Latin letters such as é, ñ, ü, ø and ß print correctly. The PDF uses the standard Helvetica, Times and Courier fonts, which do not include non-Latin scripts (Cyrillic, Greek, Chinese and so on); such characters are shown as ? and a warning appears.
Is my address list uploaded?
No. Parsing, layout and PDF creation all happen in your browser. Your address list is only remembered in your own browser so it is still there the next time you open the page.
