How to use the Weekly Schedule Maker
Set the week: title, Sunday or Monday start, and the hours to show.
Drag down on a day to draw a block (or press Add block) and give it a title, color and notes.
Tick other days under Also add to, to repeat the block across the week.
Drag blocks to adjust them; drag the bottom edge to change the end time.
Download the PDF or PNG, or press Print for a one-page landscape copy.
Time blocking with a weekly schedule
Time blocking means giving every important task a fixed slot on your calendar instead of keeping it on an open-ended to-do list. A weekly view is the natural place to do it: you see fixed commitments such as work, classes and appointments first, and the gaps between them show how much time is really left for workouts, study or rest.

Tip
1. Fixed commitments
Work hours, classes, school runs
Use one color for all of them so the free time stands out.
2. Routines
Sleep window, meals, exercise
Add them once and copy to the other days with Also add to.
3. Priorities
Deep work, study, projects
Schedule them in the hours you have the most energy.
4. Buffers
Travel, breaks, catch-up time
Leave 15 to 30 minutes between blocks so one delay does not wreck the day.
How many hours are in a week?
A week has 7 × 24 = 168 hours. Eight hours of sleep a night uses 56 of them, leaving 112 waking hours; a 40-hour work week takes a little over a third of that. The summary under the grid adds up the hours you have scheduled and shows which activities take the most time, which makes it easy to check whether your plan is realistic.
Keyboard and editing tips
Press Tab to move between blocks, Enter to edit the focused block and Delete to remove it.
Undo restores the last change, including drags and a cleared schedule.
Blocks can run from midnight to midnight. If one falls outside the hours you show, widen From and To to see it.
Frequently asked questions
How do I add a block on a phone or tablet?
Tap an empty slot to open a new one-hour block at that time, then set the exact start and end times in the editor. You can drag existing blocks with your finger to move them, or drag the small bar at their bottom edge to resize.
Can I repeat the same activity on several days?
Yes. In the block editor, tick the days under Also add to before saving. The block is copied to each ticked day with the same time, color and notes, and each copy can then be edited on its own.
What happens when two blocks overlap?
They are drawn side by side in the same day column, both on screen and in the PDF, so nothing is hidden. The summary still counts the full time of each block.
Will my schedule fit on one page when printed?
Yes. The PDF and print layout scale the visible hours to fill one landscape US Letter or A4 page. For more room per block, narrow the From and To hours or switch to weekdays only.
Is my schedule saved?
It is saved automatically in this browser's local storage, so it is still there when you come back on the same device. Download the PDF or PNG to keep a copy elsewhere. Nothing is sent to a server.
Can I use it as a class or work timetable?
Yes. Any recurring weekly routine works: classes, work shifts, workouts, family activities or time blocking for focused work. Use colors to group similar activities.
