Turn any word into real extruded 3D text. Adjust the depth and bevel, choose a glossy, matte, metal or chrome material, drag to rotate, and download a sharp PNG with a transparent background for logos, thumbnails and graphics.

How to use the 3D Text Generator
Type your text (up to three lines) and pick a font.
Shape it: set the extrusion depth, bevel size and bevel style.
Choose a look: a preset, or your own material and face / side colors.
Pose it: drag the preview to rotate, or use the rotation sliders; move the light to change the shading.
Download PNG at the size you need. Leave Transparent background on to place the text on any image.
How the 3D text is built
Unlike tools that fake depth with stacked shadows, this generator builds a real 3D mesh. Your text is drawn with the chosen font, its outline is traced with sub-pixel accuracy, and the shape is extruded backwards by the depth you set. The front face is shaped by a distance field so the bevel follows every curve of the letters, then the model is lit in real time with a key light, a fill light and an environment reflection. Because it is real geometry, you can rotate it freely and the lighting stays correct.

Soft, even shading without reflections
Clean infographics, stone or clay looks, print
Metal
Highlights tinted by the base color, reflective sides
Gold, bronze and copper titles, awards, luxury branding
Chrome
Mirror-like reflections of a bright sky and dark ground
Retro 80s logos, sci-fi and automotive themes
Tips for great 3D text
Use heavy fonts. Arial Black, Impact and other bold display fonts have thick strokes that show off depth and bevels.
Turn the text slightly. A Y rotation between 15° and 30° and a small tilt reveal the sides without making the word hard to read.
Contrast the sides. A side color darker than the face gives a classic, readable look; a bright side color looks playful.
Light from the side. Move the light to about −40° or +40° for strong highlights on the bevels; 0° gives flat, frontal light.
Export large, scale down. Download at 1920 or 3840 px and resize in your editor for the crispest edges in thumbnails and print.
Frequently asked questions
How do I make 3D text online?
Type your words into the Text box, pick a font and a preset or material, drag the preview to the angle you like and click Download PNG. The text is extruded into a real 3D model in your browser, so lighting and shadows on the sides and bevels are calculated, not painted on.
Can I download 3D text with a transparent background?
Yes. Keep Transparent background ticked and the PNG will have an alpha channel, so you can place the 3D text over photos, YouTube thumbnails or slides in any editor.
What is a bevel?
A bevel is the slanted or rounded edge between the front face of a letter and its sides. A rounded bevel catches highlights and makes metal and plastic look realistic; a flat bevel gives a chiseled look; no bevel gives a crisp block extrusion.
Which fonts can I use?
Any font installed on your device, including fonts for non-Latin scripts. Bold, heavy fonts such as Arial Black or Impact look best because thin strokes become narrow in 3D. Choose Custom font and type the font's name to use a font that is not in the list.
How large can the PNG be?
You can export at 1280, 1920 or 3840 pixels wide. Larger sizes are rendered fresh at that resolution, so edges stay sharp. Very large exports may be limited on older phones with little graphics memory.
Why does the preview not appear?
The generator needs WebGL, which every modern browser supports. If it is disabled (for example by graphics-driver blocklists or some privacy settings), enable hardware acceleration in your browser settings and reload the page.
Can I use the images commercially?
Yes. The images you create are yours to use. Just make sure you have the rights to the font you choose: most system fonts allow use in images, but check the license for commercial logos.
