Share your big news with a ready-to-post image: type your words on a felt letter board, drop your ultrasound photo into a polaroid, arch or moon-and-stars frame, and add your due date. Everything is made in your browser, so your photo stays private until you choose to share it.

How to use the Pregnancy Announcement Maker
Choose a template and colors. Letter board is selected first; the photo templates show a soft placeholder until you add a picture.
Add your ultrasound or bump photo (optional). Use the zoom slider and drag the photo in the preview to frame it.
Type your text: the letter board rows, a headline such as "We're expecting!", your names and an optional extra line for siblings or pets.
Pick your due date and wording, for example "Due March 2027" or "Arriving Spring 2027", or choose Coming soon to keep the date private.
Choose the image size for where you will post it, then Download PNG or JPG, copy it, or tap Share on your phone.

Wording ideas
Simple: "We're expecting!" · "Baby on the way" · "Hello, little one" · "Coming soon".
With a name: "Baby Carter coming spring 2027" · "The Lopez family is growing by two little feet".
From a sibling: "Promoted to big brother" · "Mia is going to be a big sister".
From a pet: "Our dog is getting a human" · "Two paws and two little feet".
Letter board tip: real letter boards have a limited number of each letter, which is part of the charm, but here you can use as many as you like. Short rows keep the letters big and easy to read on a phone.
Tips for a great announcement photo
Ultrasound prints: lay the print flat near a window, turn off the flash to avoid glare, and photograph it straight on. Crop out the clinic details with the zoom slider if you prefer to keep them private.
Privacy: before posting, check that the scan does not show your full name, date of birth or clinic ID number.
Bump photos: soft daylight from the side and a plain background work best with the arch and photo + text templates.
Timing: many families wait until after the first-trimester scan to share publicly, but there is no right or wrong time; share when it feels right for you.
Frequently asked questions
Is my ultrasound photo uploaded anywhere?
No. The image is drawn on a canvas in your own browser and the download is created on your device. The photo is never sent to a server and is not saved; only your text and template choices are remembered in this browser so you can come back to them.
What image size should I use for Instagram and Facebook?
Use 1080 × 1350 (4:5 portrait) for an Instagram or Facebook feed post, because it takes up the most space in the feed. Use 1080 × 1080 for a square post, 1080 × 1920 (9:16) for Stories and Reels covers, and 1200 × 630 for a wide image in messages or link previews.
What should I write on a pregnancy letter board?
Keep it short, three to five rows of one to three words each, so the letters stay large. Popular ideas are "Baby [last name] coming [month]", "Our family is growing", "Party of 3 (or 4) coming soon", or a playful line from an older sibling or pet. The tool sizes the letters to fit the longest row.
Should I show the exact due date?
That is up to you. Many people share only the month or season, since only a small share of babies arrive on their exact due date and most come within about two weeks either side of it. Choose Coming soon to leave the date out completely.
How is the "weeks pregnant" figure calculated?
Due dates are normally set 280 days (40 weeks) after the first day of the last menstrual period. The tool counts the days from today to your due date and subtracts that from 280 days to show the usual weeks-plus-days figure. It is for reference only; your care provider's dating may differ, for example after an early ultrasound.
Can I print the announcement?
Yes. Download the PNG and print it as a photo; the 1080 × 1350 size prints sharply up to about 4 × 5 inches. For larger prints or a card, use a photo that is at least 1500 pixels on the short side and print at 100% scale.
Why does my HEIC photo not open?
Many browsers other than Safari cannot open iPhone HEIC photos directly. Convert the photo to JPG first with our HEIC to JPG tool, or set your iPhone camera to "Most Compatible" so it saves JPG files.
