How to use the Menu QR Code Table Tent Maker
Paste your online menu link: a menu page on your website, a PDF menu, or an ordering or review page.
Write the words: your restaurant name, a short call to action such as "Scan to see our menu" and a line of small print.
Add your logo and pick a look: choose a color theme or your own colors, a font and a QR code style.
Choose the print format: a table tent that you fold in half, a table card for an acrylic stand, or a sheet of stickers. Tick Add table numbers to number each one.
Download the PDF and print it at 100% (actual size) on thick card stock, then test the code with a few different phones before putting it on the tables.

Tips for QR codes guests actually scan
Say what happens. "Scan to see our menu" or "Scan to order & pay" gets more scans than a bare code.
Keep the link short. Shorter links make a less dense code with bigger squares that scan faster in dim light.
Keep contrast high. Dark code on a white background works best. The tool switches the code to near-black automatically if your accent color is too light.
Make the menu mobile-friendly. A huge PDF is slow on phone data; a lightweight web page or a compressed PDF opens faster.
Use a link you control (such as yourdomain.com/menu) so you can update the menu without reprinting the codes.
Protect from spills. Laminate the tents or use matte sticker vinyl. Glossy laminate can reflect overhead lights, so test after laminating.
Offer a backup. Keep a few printed menus for guests without a smartphone.
Frequently asked questions
How do I make a QR code for my restaurant menu?
Put your menu online first, for example as a page on your website, a PDF in cloud storage with a public link, or an online ordering page. Paste that link into this tool, add your name and call to action, pick a template and download the PDF. Customers scan the printed code with their phone camera and the menu opens in their browser.
Do these menu QR codes expire?
No. The code is a static QR code that contains your link directly, so it keeps working as long as the link works. There is no redirect service in between and no subscription. If you might change the menu address later, point the code at a page you control, such as yourdomain.com/menu, and update what that page shows.
How do I print a table tent?
Choose the Table tent template and print the PDF at actual size (100%, not fit to page) on card stock, ideally 65-110 lb cover or 176-300 gsm. Fold along the dashed line so the design faces outward on both sides. The top half is printed upside down on purpose so it reads correctly once folded.
Can I put my logo in the middle of the QR code?
Yes. Tick the option to place the logo in the middle and the tool switches the QR code to the highest error correction level (H), which can recover about 30% of damaged or covered modules. Keep the logo simple and always test the printed code with a few phones.
What size should a menu QR code be?
A common rule of thumb is that the code should be at least one tenth of the scanning distance. At a table, phones are about 20-40 cm (8-16 in) away, so a code of 2.5-4 cm (1-1.5 in) is the minimum and larger is more comfortable. The table tent and card templates print the code well above that size.
What does the tracking tag do?
It adds utm_source=qr, utm_medium and utm_campaign=menu to your link. Analytics tools such as Google Analytics then report visits from the printed codes separately, so you can see how many guests scan. Leave it off if your menu host does not allow extra parameters in the URL.
Is anything uploaded?
No. The QR code, the design and the PDF are all created by JavaScript on your device. Your logo and link are never sent to a server.
