How to use the Device Mockup Generator
Add your screenshot: drop it on the box, paste it with Ctrl+V or press Choose screenshot. A sample app screen is shown until you do.
Pick a device: Phone, Tablet, Laptop, Monitor or Browser. Phones and tablets can be turned to landscape.
Style it: choose a frame color (or the browser theme and address), a background, padding, tilt and shadow.
Choose the canvas: Auto fits the device tightly, or pick a square, portrait, wide or story size for social media.
Download a PNG (transparent background supported) or JPG, or copy the mockup straight into your design tool or chat.
Screen sizes used by each frame
For a perfect fit, capture or resize your screenshot to the same aspect ratio as the device screen. Any multiple works, for example 1170 × 2532 for the phone (3× of 390 × 844).

Tips for great-looking mockups
Crop the system bars or keep them consistent: a clean status bar looks more professional in a phone frame.
Use Fill screen, align top for long app or website screenshots so the header stays visible.
App store and social posts: choose the Portrait 4:5 or Story 9:16 canvas with a gradient background, then add text in your design tool.
Landing pages: a transparent PNG with a soft shadow sits naturally on any section background.
A slight tilt of 4–8° adds depth without making the screen hard to read.
Retina sharpness: export at 2× or 3× and scale the image down in your layout.
Frequently asked questions
What screenshot size works best for each device?
Use a screenshot with the same shape as the device screen so nothing is cropped: about 390 × 844 (or any 9:19.5 ratio) for the phone, 820 × 1180 for the tablet, 1280 × 800 (16:10) for the laptop and 1280 × 720 (16:9) for the monitor. The browser window adapts its height to any screenshot. The screen size and ratio of the selected device are shown under the preview.
What happens if my screenshot has a different shape?
With Fill screen, align top the screenshot fills the screen and the bottom is cropped, which suits long scrolling pages. Fill screen, centered crops evenly from both sides, and Show whole image fits the full screenshot inside the screen with bars around it.
Can I download a mockup with a transparent background?
Yes. Pick the checkered Transparent background swatch and download as PNG. The device and its shadow are kept with real transparency, ready to place on a website, slide or app store graphic.
What resolution are the mockups?
At 2× (the default) a phone mockup is roughly 900 × 1900 pixels and a laptop mockup about 3500 × 2400 pixels, depending on padding and canvas. Choose 3× for print or 1× for small web images. Output is capped at 6000 pixels per side.
Are these real brand device images?
No. The frames are drawn from scratch with simple shapes so they look like modern generic devices. They are free to use in your marketing, presentations, portfolios and app store screenshots.
Is my screenshot uploaded?
No. The mockup is drawn in your browser with the Canvas API. Your screenshot never leaves your device, which makes it safe for unreleased apps and private dashboards.
