How to use the Photo Strip Maker
Add 3 or 4 photos: choose, drop or paste them; they fill the strip from top to bottom. Use Replace or the arrows to change a single photo or its position.
Frame each shot: drag a photo in the preview to move it inside its frame. Photos are cropped to fill, never stretched.
Style the strip: pick a color, a filter, the border width, the space between photos and the corner rounding.
Write a caption and choose whether to show the date underneath.
Download a single 2×6 strip or the 4×6 sheet with two strips, then print it at 4×6 inches and cut along the line.

Any photo lab or home photo printer; cut into two strips
Each photo frame is the strip width minus two borders wide. Its height is the space left after the borders, the gaps between photos and the caption area, divided by the number of photos: frame height = (1800 − 2 × border − caption area − (photos − 1) × gap) ÷ photos. With the default 7% border and four photos the frames are about 516 × 352 px, close to the 3:2 shape of most camera photos.
Tips for a great strip
Tell a tiny story from top to bottom: a normal pose, a funny face, a surprise, a group hug.
Landscape photos fit four-photo strips best; portrait photos suit the taller three-photo layout.
Black & white or sepia hides different lighting between photos and gives the vintage booth look.
Leave the cut line on when printing the sheet; it lands exactly between the two strips.
For events, add the names and the date as a caption, for example "Sam & Alex" with today's date underneath.
Frequently asked questions
What size is a photo booth strip?
The classic photo booth strip is 2 × 6 inches. At the usual print resolution of 300 DPI that is 600 × 1800 pixels, which is exactly what this tool creates. Booths normally print two strips side by side on a 4 × 6 inch sheet and cut it in half, which is what the 4 × 6 sheet option recreates (1200 × 1800 px).
How do I print the photo strip?
Download the 4 × 6 sheet as JPG and order or print it as a standard 4 × 6 inch (10 × 15 cm) photo with no borders and no cropping. Then cut along the dashed line in the middle to get two 2 × 6 strips, one to keep and one to share.
Why is part of my photo cut off?
Each frame on the strip has a fixed shape, wider than tall for four photos, so photos are scaled to fill the frame and the overflow is cropped rather than stretched. Drag the photo in the preview to choose which part stays visible, for example to keep faces in the frame.
Can I make a strip with 3 photos?
Yes. Choose 3 photos under Layout. The frames become taller to fill the strip, and the caption area at the bottom stays the same.
Which font does the caption use?
The caption uses fonts already installed on your device, so the handwritten style may look slightly different on Windows, Mac or a phone. The text is drawn into the image, so the downloaded strip looks the same everywhere you share or print it.
How is this different from the webcam photo booth?
The Webcam Photo Booth takes new pictures with your camera. The Photo Strip Maker works with photos you already have, from a phone, a party or a wedding, and focuses on print-ready 2 × 6 and 4 × 6 output.
Are my photos uploaded?
No. The strip is drawn with the Canvas API inside your browser and saved straight to your device. Nothing is sent to a server.
