How to use the Text to Image
Type your text in the box. Press Enter for a new line; long lines wrap automatically when you set a fixed width.
Pick a preset or choose the font, size, weight and line height yourself.
Set colors: text color, then a transparent, solid or gradient background, with optional outline and shadow.
Adjust the layout: alignment, padding, corner radius and Auto or Fixed width.
Download the image as PNG, JPG or WEBP at 1x, 2x or 3x, or copy it to the clipboard to paste anywhere.

How the text is laid out
The image height is calculated from the number of lines: height = lines × font size × line height + 2 × padding. In Auto width the image is as wide as the longest line plus padding on both sides. In Fixed width the text area is the image width minus twice the padding, and each paragraph is wrapped at the last space that fits; a single word longer than the line is split between letters. Blank lines you type are kept, so you can space paragraphs exactly as you like.
Resolution (1x, 2x, 3x) multiplies the pixel size of the whole image without changing the layout, the same way phones use high-density screens. A 1080 px wide design exported at 2x is 2160 px wide and stays crisp when zoomed.
Tips for readable text images
Keep contrast high: dark text on a light background or the reverse. Aim for a contrast ratio of at least 4.5:1, the WCAG guideline for normal text.
Use a line height of 1.3 to 1.5 for paragraphs and 1.0 to 1.2 for big titles.
For text on top of photos or videos, use a transparent PNG with an outline of 3 to 8 px or a soft shadow.
Generous padding (40 to 80 px at 1080 px wide) makes quote cards look balanced on social media.
Frequently asked questions
How do I make a text image with a transparent background?
Set Background to Transparent and download as PNG or WEBP. Only the letters are drawn, so you can place the image over photos, videos or slides. JPG does not support transparency and fills the background with white.
How do I make the text wrap to a certain width?
Switch Width to Fixed and enter the image width in pixels. Lines longer than the width minus the padding are wrapped at spaces, and very long words are broken across lines. In Auto mode the image is as wide as the longest line you typed.
Can I use my own font?
Yes. Click Use my font file and pick a TTF, OTF, WOFF or WOFF2 font from your device. It is loaded only in this browser tab and is never uploaded.
Why choose 2x or 3x export?
Higher resolution keeps the text sharp on high-density phone and laptop screens and when the image is zoomed or printed. A 2x image has twice the width and height in pixels with exactly the same layout.
Why does my font look different on another device?
The built-in font choices use fonts installed on your device, with similar fallbacks when one is missing. The downloaded image is fixed, so it looks the same everywhere, but re-creating it on another computer can give slightly different letter shapes.
What is the maximum image size?
The image can be up to 8000 pixels on its longest side. If the text is very long, the export resolution is reduced automatically so the image stays within browser canvas limits.
Is my text uploaded?
No. The image is drawn on a canvas in your browser, so your text never leaves your device.
