How to use the Carousel Post Maker
Pick a template, size and fonts at the top. Portrait 4:5 fills the most screen space on Instagram and LinkedIn.
Edit each slide: click a thumbnail, choose a layout and type the heading and text. Add an image if you like.
Add or rearrange slides with + Add slide and the arrow, duplicate and delete buttons, or paste text into Create slides from text.
Set the author footer under Author & extras: your name, handle and an optional avatar photo.
Download all slides as PNG images in a ZIP for Instagram, or as a PDF to upload as a LinkedIn document post.

A simple structure that works
Cover: a specific promise ("5 ways to…", "The mistake I made with…"). This slide decides whether anyone swipes.
Context: one slide on why the topic matters or the problem it solves.
Points: one idea per slide, a short heading plus one or two sentences, or a short numbered list.
Summary or quote: the single sentence you want people to remember.
Call to action: ask for one thing only: save, share, comment or follow.
Design tips
Write for a phone screen. A 1080 px wide slide is shown about 400 px wide on most phones, so keep body text short. The tool shrinks text to fit, but if it gets small, split the slide in two.
Stay consistent. Using one template, one accent color and the same layout for similar slides makes a carousel feel professional and easy to follow.
Keep the footer. Your name or handle on every slide helps when slides are shared or screenshotted on their own.
Check contrast. On the Bold color template the text switches between white and dark automatically based on the accent color, but very mid-tone colors are still harder to read.
Frequently asked questions
What size should Instagram carousel slides be?
Instagram carousels look best at 1080 × 1350 pixels (4:5 portrait), which takes up the most space in the feed. 1080 × 1080 (square) also works. All slides in one carousel should use the same size, because Instagram crops every slide to the ratio of the first one.
How do I post a carousel on LinkedIn?
LinkedIn shows swipeable carousels when you upload a PDF as a document post. Click Download PDF here, then on LinkedIn start a post, choose Add a document, upload the PDF and give it a title. Each page of the PDF becomes one slide.
How many slides can a carousel have?
Instagram allows up to 20 images in one carousel post, and this tool lets you make up to 20 slides. LinkedIn document posts accept much longer PDFs, but 6 to 12 slides is a common length that people finish swiping.
How do I post the PNG slides to Instagram?
Download all PNG (ZIP), unzip it on your phone or computer, and in Instagram create a new post, tap the multiple-selection icon and pick the images in order. The files are numbered 01, 02, 03 so they sort correctly.
Can I add my own photos?
Yes. Use Add image on any slide; it is placed below the text in portrait and square sizes and beside the text in landscape. Under Author & extras you can also add an avatar photo for the footer.
Are my slides saved?
The text and settings are remembered in your browser so you can come back later. Images are not stored and need to be added again after reloading. Nothing is uploaded to a server.
Which fonts are used?
The font sets use fonts that are already on almost every device, such as system UI fonts, Georgia, Arial Black, Trebuchet MS, Verdana and Courier New. The downloaded images contain the text as pixels, so they look the same for everyone.
