Tips for a personal birthday message
Use the name they go by. A nickname or "Grandma Rose" feels warmer than a full formal name.
Mention one shared memory or quality. "Thanks for every road trip" or "your laugh makes every room brighter" turns a generic wish into a personal one.
Keep it short on the image. One or two sentences read well on a phone. Put a longer note in the message you send with the picture.
Milestone birthdays (18, 21, 30, 40, 50 and beyond) are a great time to add the age: it shows as number candles on the cake or a badge on the other designs.
Check the spelling of the name before sending; zoom in on the preview if the lettering is decorative.

Frequently asked questions
How do I write a name on a birthday cake picture?
Choose the Birthday cake design and type the name. It is written in icing-style lettering on the front of the cake and resized automatically so longer names still fit. Add the age to replace the candles with number candles.
How does the balloon design spell the name?
Each letter of the name goes on its own balloon, for names up to 10 letters (spaces are skipped). For longer names, the balloons are shown as a bunch and the name is written underneath.
Which size should I use for a WhatsApp or Instagram status?
Choose Status / story (1080 × 1920), which fills a phone screen in WhatsApp Status, Instagram Stories and similar features. Use Square or Portrait for regular posts and chats, and Landscape (1200 × 630) for Facebook links or email.
How do I send the image on WhatsApp?
On a phone, press Share image and pick WhatsApp from the share menu. If your browser cannot share files, press Download PNG and then attach the saved image in the chat. On a computer, Copy image lets you paste it into WhatsApp Web.
Can I add a photo of the birthday person?
Yes. Press Add photo and choose a picture; it is cropped into a circle with a white frame. The photo is only used on your device to draw the image and is never uploaded.
Are the birthday wishes free to use?
Yes. The wishes were written for this tool, and you can use, edit or replace them however you like. The finished image is yours to share.
Why do the letters look different on another device?
The lettering styles use fonts installed on your device, so the script style can look a little different between phones and computers. The downloaded PNG keeps exactly the look you see in the preview.
