How to use the Coupon Maker
Choose a design and color, then pick the offer type and enter the value, such as 20 for 20% OFF.
Add the details line (for example "any order over $50"), your business name, contact line and logo.
Set the coupon code: one code for everyone, or unique numbered or random codes so each coupon can be redeemed only once.
Pick the expiry date and terms, then choose how many coupons and how many per page.
Download the PDF, print at 100% scale and cut along the dashed lines. Save the CSV to keep track of unique codes.
Coupon sizes per page
Coupons are placed edge to edge in a grid, so one cut along each dashed line separates two coupons. The block is centered on the page with about half an inch of margin or more on every side, which suits most home and office printers.

To check the cost of an offer: the discount per sale equals the price × percent ÷ 100 for percent-off coupons, or the fixed amount for amount-off coupons. Compare that with your margin on the item before you print a large batch.
Printing tips
Print at 100% scale (Actual size), not Fit to page, so the coupons keep their stated size and the cut lines line up.
Use card stock around 65-80 lb cover (176-216 gsm) for coupons that people carry in a wallet.
Bold color designs use more ink; Classic, Minimal and Retro print well on basic inkjet printers.
Track redemptions: with unique codes, open the CSV in a spreadsheet and fill in the redeemed_on column when a coupon comes back.
Frequently asked questions
How do I make printable coupons?
Pick a design, enter your offer, code and expiry date, set the number of coupons, then click Download PDF to print. The PDF lays out 2, 3, 4 or 10 coupons per US Letter or A4 page with dashed cut lines. Print at 100% or Actual size and cut along the lines with scissors or a paper trimmer.
What size are the coupons?
Every coupon has a 2:1 shape. Two per page print at 7.5 x 3.75 inches, three per page at 6.6 x 3.3 inches, four per page at 5 x 2.5 inches, and ten per page (two columns) at 3.75 x 1.875 inches, close to a business card and easy to hand out or tuck into a bag.
Should each coupon have a unique code?
Use one shared code for a general promotion that you also want to accept online or by phone. Use unique numbered or random codes when each paper coupon should be used only once, or when you want to know which batch or event a redemption came from. Download the CSV and note the date when a code is redeemed.
What should I put on a discount coupon?
State the offer clearly (20% OFF, $10 OFF, Buy 1 Get 1 Free), what it applies to, the expiry date, your business name and how to redeem it. Short terms such as one per customer, not valid with other offers and no cash value prevent misunderstandings at the counter.
Is a percent-off or dollar-off coupon better?
On lower-priced items a percentage usually sounds bigger (25% off a $12 lunch is $3), while on expensive items a fixed amount often sounds better ($50 off a $400 order is 12.5%). Use the discount calculator to compare what each offer costs you.
Can I make coupons for gifts, like a coupon book?
Yes. Choose Custom headline or Free item and write something like "Breakfast in bed" or "One car wash", set Coupon code to No code, tick No expiry date and print as many as you like. For store-value vouchers, the gift certificate maker is a better fit.
Are my logo and codes uploaded?
No. The coupons are drawn in your browser and the PDF, PNG and CSV files are created on your own device, so nothing you type or upload leaves your computer.
