How to use the Fundraising Thermometer Maker
Enter the campaign details: headline, organization, goal and the amount raised so far.
Add milestones such as what each amount pays for, or press Create 25/50/75% marks.
Pick a size for where you will share it, then choose a theme or your own colors.
Download PNG for social media, or press Print poster with a US Letter or 11 × 17 size.
Update it later: come back, type the new donation in Add a donation and download again.
How the thermometer level is calculated
The fill level is simply the share of the goal you have raised: percent = raised ÷ goal × 100. With a $10,000 goal and $6,450 raised, the tube is 64.5% full and $3,550 is still needed (goal − raised). Milestones sit at the same proportion of the tube, so a $2,500 milestone on a $10,000 goal is drawn a quarter of the way up. Once the raised amount passes the goal, the tube stays full and the bulb shows the true percentage, for example 112%.

Tips for a thermometer that motivates donors
Name what each milestone buys. "Tournament bus" or "100 school lunches" is more persuasive than a bare number.
Post updates often. A thermometer that moves every few days shows momentum. Use Add a donation, download, and share the new image.
Set a deadline in the footer line. A clear end date gives people a reason to give now.
Celebrate the halfway point. Add a 50% milestone and thank everyone publicly when it gets its check mark.

Frequently asked questions
How do I make a fundraising thermometer?
Type your goal and the amount raised so far into the form. The thermometer fills to the matching percentage (raised divided by goal, times 100) and updates instantly. Add a headline, milestones and colors, then press Download PNG or Print poster.
What size should a fundraising thermometer be for Instagram or Facebook?
Use 1080 × 1350 for a portrait feed post, which takes up the most screen space, 1080 × 1080 for a square post and 1080 × 1920 for stories and reels. The 1200 × 630 size fits link previews and the 1500 × 500 banner fits page headers.
Can I print the thermometer as a poster?
Yes. Choose the US Letter or 11 × 17 inch poster size, which renders at 300 pixels per inch, then press Print poster. You can also download the PNG and take it to a print shop. For a wall chart that you color in by hand, keep the raised amount at 0 before printing.
What happens when we pass our goal?
The tube shows completely full, the bulb shows the real percentage such as 112%, a Goal reached! badge appears and the summary shows how much you are over the goal.
Can I track something other than money?
Yes. Set Unit to points, items, hours, cans or books, or choose No symbol. That works well for food drives, reading challenges, volunteer hours and pledge counts.
Is my campaign information saved or uploaded?
Nothing is uploaded. The image is drawn in your browser, and your last settings are saved only in this browser's local storage so you can update the total next time.
