How to use the Sindhi Keyboard
- Click in the text box: the Sindhi (phonetic) layout is ready.
- Type with your keyboard (keep “Type with my physical keyboard” ticked) or click the on-screen keys. Each key shows the Sindhi character it types.

About the Sindhi keyboard
Sindhi is written right to left in an extended Arabic script with 52 letters, the largest of the Arabic-based alphabets, including four implosive consonants.
- Sindhi (phonetic): Sindhi layout with letters on similar-sounding keys; implosives and aspirates (ٻ ڄ ڏ ڳ ٿ ٺ ٽ ڀ ڦ ڇ ڱ ڻ ڪ) are on their own keys or Shift. Right to left.

Tips for typing Sindhi
- Use ڪ for k and ک for kh.
- Implosives ٻ ڄ ڏ ڳ are distinct sounds.
- ھ marks aspiration in digraphs.
- Tick Sindhi digits for ۱۲۳.
Frequently asked questions
How do I type ڪ (kaf)?
ڪ is on the K key; Sindhi uses ڪ for the plain k sound, while ک (on the ; key) is the aspirated kh.
How do I type the implosive letters?
ٻ is Shift+B, ڄ Shift+J, ڏ Shift+G and ڳ is on G. They are also in the quick buttons.
How do I type جھ and گھ?
Click the digraph buttons; they are written as two characters.
