How to use the Twibbon Maker
Add your photo: drop it on the box, paste it or click Choose photo.
Choose a frame: on the Upload frame tab pick the campaign's PNG file, or switch to Design a frame and pick a style, text and colours.
Fit the photo: drag it in the preview, scroll or pinch to zoom, and use Rotate or Mirror if needed.
Check the round preview: most networks crop profile pictures to a circle, so keep faces inside it.
Download your picture as PNG or JPG, or Share it straight from your phone.
How a twibbon frame works
A twibbon is two layers: your photo at the back and a frame image on top. The frame is a PNG whose pixels are partly transparent. Wherever the frame is see-through (alpha 0), your photo shows; wherever it is opaque, the frame's banner, logo or border covers the photo. That is why the frame must be a PNG, WebP or GIF with transparency: JPG has no alpha channel, so a JPG frame hides the photo completely.

Notes
Square PNG with transparent centre
Yes, best
1080 × 1080 px is the most common size
Non-square PNG
Yes
Scaled to cover the square and centred; edges of the long side are trimmed
WebP or GIF with transparency
Yes
GIF uses only the first frame
JPG frame
No
No transparency, so the frame covers the photo
Tips for a great campaign picture
Keep your face in the circle. Social networks show profile pictures as a circle, so corners of the square are cut off. Turn on the circle guide and check the small round previews.
Leave room for the frame. Zoom out a little if a banner or ribbon covers your chin or eyes.
Use a sharp photo. A photo at least 1080 px on its short side stays crisp at full export size.

Frequently asked questions
What is a twibbon?
A twibbon is a campaign frame laid over a profile picture to show support for a cause, event, team or brand. It is usually a square PNG image with a transparent area where your own photo shows through.
What kind of frame file do I need?
A PNG with transparency, ideally square (for example 1080 x 1080 px). The transparent part is where your photo appears. JPG files cannot be transparent, so a JPG frame would cover your whole photo; the tool warns you when a frame has no transparent area.
The frame is not square. What happens?
The export is always square. A non-square frame is scaled to cover the square and centred, so a little of its longer side may be cut off. Ask the organiser for a square version for the best result.
Which size should I download?
1080 x 1080 px is sharp everywhere, including high-density phone screens, and is accepted by all major social networks. 800 px suits YouTube; 500 px keeps the file small for messaging apps.
Can I make a frame for my own campaign?
Yes. Use Design a frame, enter your campaign name and hashtag, choose colours, then click Download frame PNG. Share that transparent PNG with supporters so they can add it to their photos here or in any twibbon tool.
Is my photo uploaded?
No. Everything is drawn with the Canvas API in your browser and saved straight to your device. Nothing is sent to a server, and there is no sign-up or watermark.
